Could you be using ACF version 6.3 and above? If so, the shortcode is disabled by default for security reasons. Please have a look at our changelog at https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/changelog/#:~:text=The%20ACF%20Shortcode%20is%20now%20disabled
You can enable the shortcode by adding the code at https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/shortcode/#enabling on your functions.php file.
