In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF®)] Best Theme ?Hi there!
It’s great to hear you’re enjoying using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)! When it comes to integrating ACF with different themes, it’s crucial to note that ACF itself does not guarantee compatibility with all theme functionalities. The best choice for you will depend on your specific use case and the features you need.
Divi is a popular choice with its drag-and-drop builder, but if you’re exploring other themes, here are a few options that generally work well with ACF:
- Genesis Framework: Known for its clean code and robust performance. It’s a solid foundation for custom development and typically integrates well with ACF. However, check with their support or documentation for specific integration details.
- Oxygen Builder: A powerful visual builder that offers extensive customization options and works well with ACF. Again, it’s a good idea to confirm any specific requirements with their support team.
- Elementor: Another popular page builder that integrates smoothly with ACF. Elementor’s extensive widget library and user-friendly interface make it a strong candidate, but it’s worth checking if there are any specific considerations for your use case.
- Hello Theme: This minimalistic theme by Elementor provides a blank slate, which can be customized extensively using Elementor and ACF. It’s recommended to verify its compatibility with your specific needs.
- Sage: For a developer-centric approach, Sage offers a modern framework with Blade templating. It integrates well with ACF, but requires more development knowledge. Ensure that your specific needs are supported by checking Sage’s documentation or community forums.
For any of these options, it’s essential to consult the theme’s support or documentation to ensure they meet your specific requirements and confirm how they handle ACF integrations.
Hope this helps, and best of luck with your projects!

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF®)] Add custom fields to woocommerce ordersHi there!
ACF Support Team here, Thanks for reaching out with your query we would be happy to assist. This is due to incompatibility with Woocommerce’s HPOS as shared by @leodefaveri.
In the meantime, go to WooCommerce settings > Advanced > Features, then you can enable compatibility mode and once it has synched your orders back to the legacy format, you can then toggle “WordPress posts storage” as the storage mode, which uses the legacy post names and tables to store your data which is compatible with ACF.If you need further clarification, please create a ticket using our support form and we can look into it further.

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF®)] Options Page TemplateTo put up a header you could try and use the message field type. Add a message field to your options page as the very first field, add CSS class or ID in the presentation tab of the message field.
Then style it with custom CSS on that options page to look like a header.
If that does not look the way you want or its not what you are looking for then consider reach out to support from here – https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/contact/ – with a clearer description of what you need and they will see what can be done.Kind regards,

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF®)] Item within Field Group is not storedThere is no limit to the number of fields you can have in a field group in both the free and pro versions.
Please reach out to support directly by submitting a ticket with more specific detials on this issue here https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/contact/Include screenshots or a screen recording of the issue if you can.
Kind regards,
Noah.Hi @jimh275
Those items are added to the fields HTML in the backend not the front end. For the front end its entirely up to your the developer when adding your field value to the front as shown here – https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/displaying-custom-field-values-in-your-theme/
Hope this clears things up.

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF®)] Storing ‘meta’ in different table?Hi @oguruma
Thanks for reaching out. From the plugins perspective its not really possible because its hard coded where the meta data is stored in the database. Mostly goes into the _meta tables.
You would definately need to come do your own customization to control this but you can see if this forum thread suggestions can help – https://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/custom-metadata-tables/
You can also reach out to support to hear if they have a solution for this. Might reference you back to the same thread – https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/contact/
Hope this clears things up.
