In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Keywords are in or out?I have activated The SEO framework and wanted to check the base sitemap file. Clicking on it produced the following error:
Error loading stylesheet: Parsing an XSLT stylesheet failed.
What do I do to fix the problem? Why is it giving me an error right off the bat?
Thanks.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Keywords are in or out?I see. The add-on seems to use focus keywords like RankMath seems to use. But, in any case, I have been managing all these years without an SEO plugin, I may revert to that. Things get convoluted too easily. Thanks for your explanations.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Keywords are in or out?Thank you for the explanation. I am beginning to question my need for an SEO plugin.
Thanks again.
Thank you. I have been using RankMath for about8-9 months, maybe longer. I have not run into this problem until after Jun3, 2022. I think I may stop using an SEO plugin.
Thank you
Yes, it does. The reply to comment function returned. One suggestion, you may instruct the user to visit the forum thread and copy the code snippet from there. I first copied it from the e-mail message I received and it threw an error
Parse error &
I visited the forum and noticed that the code line looked different, and copied it from there. Then it worked properly.
Will there be a more permanent fix for this problem?

In reply to: Cannot reply to commentsUpdate:
Yes, RankMath creates this problem. But, so does Yoast! I found a fix for Yoast from a forum thread going back two years and that fixed the problem in Yoast. How likely is it that two different SEO plugins will create the same problem? Currently, I am using Yoast with the fix applied. That fix is Yoast specific and did not help RankMath.
Cemal
For your information, I switched to Yoast and found that adding the following line to the theme functions file fixes the same problem for that plugin but not for RankMath. If I cannot get a fix for RankMath, I may as well stay with Yoast.
add_filter( ‘wpseo_remove_reply_to_com’, ‘__return_false’ );

In reply to: Cannot reply to commentsThank you again, @t-p. Using the Health Check plugin you recommended, I was able to identify the plugin causing this problem. It is one I did not think would have anything to do with comments, RankMath SEO.
I will now report the problem to them. I can reproduce the problem and make it go away by disabling RnakMath SEO.
Thanks again,
Cemal

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] Error messagesThank you. When I first tried this plugin, I did disable the caching plugin and deleted its entire cache. But, apparently, the requirements of this plugin are not suitable for trials to find out how it works. Thank you anyway for explaining these in detail.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Import from RankMath@lebaux I understand the dilemma you are facing. A collaborative effort to solve this problem is ideal if the others are willing to play. Otherwise, having done your part with the TSDT plugin to migrate among SEO systems, I wouldn’t blame you if you chose to implement your unique import from a few popular ones. The problem seems to be RankMath. Using TSDT and Yoast, it can import the SEO data but the reverse is not possible. Even when I go through Yoast again back to Genesis, I lose all the metadata I entered. This kind of mistake is hard to see when starting to use the new plugin. Now, I feel I got handcuffs and cannot move.
Falling back on my very old days of relational database programming, I cannot help but ask. Is this a case of importing a few relational database tables with indexes? My coding days are far behind me, but a few flecks floating in my mind make me ask this question.
Maybe I will write an article on my site on how to select an SEO plugin looking at the variables down the road. This should not be a one-way trip. The data is my data. Unlike image gallery plugins with thousands of images in hundreds of galleries, SEO data consists of words and relations all residing in tables. In any case, let me sleep on int.
Best wishes in your endeavors,
Cemal

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Import from RankMathLet us hope that the direct and complete import from RankMath will be coming soon. I have done quite a bit of work on my site using RM, I don’t want to lose it and start all over again.

In reply to: [The SEO Framework – Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Import from RankMathThank you for the update @cybr, I will chug along after having updated over five hundred posts. It will be hard to start fresh again. Interestingly, data from Genesis SEO seems to move to RM but not the other way around even using SEO Data Transporter via Yoast.
We’ll wait until such time when the programmers write the few lines of DB inquiry codes that will bring the data back. Luckily for me, SEO and traffic are not too important for my site other than satisfying my own curiosity.
Thank you,
Cemal
