As of 2.2.16 this is still broken.
I spoke with IgniteWoo and the solution is to comment out lines 296 through 307 of events-admin.php (in the plugin’s includes folder). Confirmed. This is working solution.

OK – disabled it from the database. Then deleted it from FTP and the re-uploaded it. Activates and does NOT break the Admin.
It is still breaking the searchable fields of WooCommerce though (which I thought this update was supposed to fix.
