In reply to: Drop support for split_shared_term() with WP >= 4.4?Good point! There are up to 20 installs that possibly use a version without the split shared term hook. (Can’t really tell, I introduced it in a patch release, so the stats don’t help me there)
So I came up with this:
There will be an update function, that converts the termmeta from the custom implementation to the official implementation. This is something every active install will execute before doing anything else (update mechanism based on plugin-specific version number in the db, as you do). For every conversion wp_get_split_term() is called to check if the term has been split in the past without the plugin noticing. Depending on the return value, the term id from my custom termmeta entry is used or the newly assigned term id that the plugin wasn’t aware of yet (for whatever reason).Since the new version of the plugin requires WP 4.4, the terms got split before my update function runs, no matter what. The update function then takes care of all the terms, whether they were previously processed by the split shared term hook or not.

Another thing I just realized after sorting the result by ID is that most of the invalid IDs are IDs of ufaq posts, but with the leading 1 missing.
It seems, that the problem didn’t occur for ID 1626, which is the only FAQ that was created July 2016, the rest was created back in March 2016. So maybe there was a problem in former versions of the plugin? I can’t tell which versions exactly were used, but I usually perform plugin updates whenever they are available.
(There are also two FAQ drafts with IDs 1496 and 1497, which could explain ID 97)

tut mir leid, dass ich erst jetzt antworte.
Mit der Erstellung von Einsatzberichten aus der Ferne habe ich leider noch keine Erfahrungen, hatte mir das für unsere Feuerwehr auch schon überlegt. Allerdings wollte ich damit noch warten, bis die WP REST API fertig und komplett in WordPress Core integriert ist.

kein Problem, hatte das auch nicht als Vorwurf verstanden. Hat mich eher überrascht, dass du es so aufgefasst hast. Vielleicht war ich da zu kurz angebunden, tut mir leid.
Nachdem ich gestern mal wieder am Plugin gearbeitet habe, musste ich mich gleich wieder bremsen, da ich wirklich gerne daran weiterarbeiten möchte. WordPress wird auch immer wieder erweitert und verbessert, das möchte ich natürlich auch in das Plugin einfließen lassen. Aber wie du schon sagst, die Masterarbeit hat da Vorrang. Und es ist das Ende ja auch absehbar 🙂

Das ist schon mal die Basis dafür. Um der ganzen Tabelle abgerundete Ecken zu verpassen, müsste der Selektor

tut mir leid, dass ich hier schon lange nicht mehr reingeschaut habe.
Für die Gruppierung nach Jahren muss man nicht selbst tätig werden, das macht WordPress von alleine. Die Links zu den Jahresarchiven kann man sich mit dem Shortcode [einsatzjahre] generieren lassen.

Ja, das ist leider richtig, die Gründe habe ich hier mal aufgeschrieben: https://einsatzverwaltung.abrain.de/2016/05/ganz-schoen-ruhig-hier/Soetwas wie den border-radius sehe ich als individuelle Verschönerung, die besser jede Webseite für sich löst. Wie man solche individuellen Anpassungen umsetzt wollte ich ohnehin demnächst mal in einem Blogbeitrag der kürzlich begonnenen Serie “Tipps & Tricks” erläutern.

das ist natürlich ärgerlich. Das mit den Umlauten liegt an der Zeichenkodierung der Datei, die meisten Server erwarten hier UTF-8-Kodierung.
Warum aber die Straßen nicht importiert werden, ist merkwürdig, das würde ich mir gerne ansehen. Meine Adresse ist kontakt@abrain.de

mehr als ‘Das liegt an den Berechtigungen’ fällt mir als Ursache leider auch nicht ein.Wie hast du es das letzte Mal gelöst? Mein Vorschlag wäre, das Plugin zu deaktivieren, zu löschen neu zu installieren. Dann müssen die Berechtigungen passen, wenn WordPress alles selbst macht.
Aktuell ist es so, dass beim Löschen des Plugins keine Daten verloren gehen. WordPress sieht das eigentlich anders vor, bisher habe ich das aber noch nicht umgesetzt, das bringt nur Scherereien, wenn Leute keine Backups machen 😉
