Hi,
I updated to version 8.0.0 for both the free and pro-addon versions but as soon as I updated the free version to 8.0.1 a similar error appeared. I have had to deactivate the pro-addon for the site to work.
I await a solution.

Hi Patbell,
I hadn’t connected the dots – I was getting 503 screens before I got the 500 screen I complained about this morning.
I have disabled MailPoet for the time being as I suspect that it is causing the problems and needs looking at.

I know that Eduardo sent onto me an updated copy of the plugin to cure the problem I was having and I followed his guidance and advice in making my document more ‘plugin friendly’.
Keep with it Elias. This is an excellent plugin (once it is working!) and Eduardo is really helpful to work with.

I had a similar problem and Eduardo spent some time in an email exchange sorting the problem out.
I do not know how complex your .odt file is but try a simple one first – just a single page text document and see whether that works. If that does then it is either your document is too complex – mine contained .odg files copied in or a plugin problem.
Eduardo was brilliant in sorting out my problem.
