In reply to: [Ultimate Addons for Elementor] Plugin is decent but has a big issueThanks for the reply. I look forward to trying the plugin with the update if it ever gets implemented.
Either way the end result is the same for users. It’s a basic website function that clearly people use.
I highly recommend updating the plugin to fetch all data and settings about the menu, including the link target attribute.
@pallavi4 the only solution is to use a different plugin that supports the “Open in new tab” function as this one dos not. Unless they decide to update this plugin, which it doesn’t seem like they will because they said that blocking that function is normal behavior for their plugin.
Based on their response, they do no see this as an issue, which it clearly is 🙄
But why is your plugin blocking the WP Menu option? I have enabled “Open link in new tab” in my menu settings but your plugin removes this on the menu it creates. This seems like a feature you need to fix or add.
Thank you Herman, much appreciated!
Here’s a screenshot of the menu settings if it helps.
Thanks Herman, reposted here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-is-removing-the-target_blank-settings-for-header-links/
I’m having the same issue — specifically the “hfe-nav-menu” class is removing the target=”_blank” attribute. Meanwhile other links on my site have no problem opening in a new tab. Any way to fix this?

In reply to: Dropdown menu in nav menu barNOTE: I should clarify, I want a hover drop down on the PAGES LIST not on a MENU. As of now, if I use the Parent>Child structure, the child is always displayed, but I’d like to hide those until the user hovers over the parent.
