Hi Onnan,
First of all thanks for your comment and the translation! That’s nice!
I have never used Documentor but I checked the plugin video tutorial to get an idea of what it does.
If I have understood well, Documentor uses shortcodes to add content to pages.
If you add a shortcode to an article that article is basicly until the moment it is rendered in the front end. It doesn’t contain any content in the database record.
BasePress doesn’t build an index but it actually modifies WordPress main query limiting the query to its custom post type and making some improvements to it.I am afraid there is no way we can change that to include Documentor content.

In reply to: [Query Monitor] UI Legacy modeThanks for quick reply!
Many times I work with the browser console open and the old UI would take the rest of the space and I would scroll or jump where needed from the top menu. When I consult the info I don’t really care about seeing the site page so QM could take the full space for me(personal preference). Clicking on the top bar was handy to go to the top of the page quickly.
There is nothing that I cannot do with the new UI compared to the old one, I just find myself more comfortable with the way the old UI worked and presented the info.
I’ll get used to it not a big deal!
Thanks again for such an essential tool.
To anyone interested I have tested BasePress with Beaver Builder theme and plugin (Thanks to Beaver Builder team for that) and no issues where found.
Definitely some other plugin or custom code is conflicting.
Thanks
Hi @nightingale323f,
there has not been any update to that functionality in a long time so the last update should not be the cause.
Can you please check in your browser console log if there is any Javascript error when that happens?
Also you would you mind creating a admin account for me to check it out?
You can send the details to support (@) 8bitsinarow . com to keep it private. Thanks
Hi,
Thanks a lot!
Definitely a conflict somewhere as no one else reported it.
I’ll see if the Beaver team can lend me a copy of their theme for testing…Thanks again and have a nice day.
Hi,
Thanks for explaining all you could. Very appreciated!
One last thing if I may ask:1. What page navigation do you refer to exactly?
I have just installed a fresh WordPress with BasePress from the repository so to use the same version and I could not see any issue. Maybe there is a conflict with the theme or other plugins.
2. if you could check your server logs for any error that could help a lot but obviously I understand that you may not be willing to get that far!
In any case thanks again for reporting!
Hi,
Would you please be so kind to tell me which plugin version you used and which theme you tested it with so I can try replicating the issue?
Thanks
Hi,
BasePress uses a standard CPT and follows WordPress standards. Also BasePress templates are fully customizable so potentially should be compatible or can be made compatible with any theme.
Considering that the plugin is free the best option would be to test it and see first hand if it fits your needs.
While there is not support on customizing the templates I am available to point you to the right direction if needed. Thanks
Hi Eli,
BasePress should already enqueue its CSS/JS only in pages where it runs.
If you can tell me which plugin it is conflicting with I’ll be happy to have a look at it. Is it a plugin I can download from somewhere and test?
You can also contact me at support at 8bitsinarow dot com so I can open a ticket for you and see how we can fix this. Thanks

In reply to: [Knowledge Base documentation & wiki plugin - BasePress Docs] Use Anchors?Hi Chris,
Anchors can be added as plain html in your content as described in this short video for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I52oQx2CDAE
But if you want to use AnchorJS then you can just enqueue their script from your functions.php on all pages with post type “knowledgebase”.
BasePress Premium has a “Table of Content” feature that adds anchors to any heading in the content automatically:

Thanks
If you like BasePress don’t forget to leave a review! π
Version 1.8.1 has just been released with a fix for case insensitive searches for non English languages.
Hi,
I have managed to replicate the issue and I have found a possible solution to it.
I’ll have to make some tests but I’ll make sure to add a fix to the next release. Thanks
Hi,
Version 1.8.0 has been released with a fix for this issue.
ThanksHi,
as I have already asked you few times you should open a support ticket through the Envato website where you supposedly bought the Pro version.
This is a support forum for the Lite version of the plugin which differs from the Pro and Premium therefore should be used by user of the Lite version. The error is not caused by the plugin as that is a WordPress function.
Once I receive the correct support request I’ll be happy to help you!
