I just installed this too and having a similar experience. Search box just shows a “spinner” on the right hand side. My site is http://5star7day.com/.

Thanks! This worked for me. Seems to be working perfected after deactivating the Comprehensive Google Map Plugin.
I am using the hosted version of WP on GoDaddy so I don’t think I have that option. I am new to using WP. How quickly are releases pushed out to address what seems like a bug in this case?
