Thanks praveenbhat for your response! I have tried some of the steps outlined in editing wp-config. I did upload a new sample of that file, and the old one was still on the server too. So I looked at it. Where the user name and password were, there was a code with letters and numbers. So I changed both to my username and password. Saved the file and checked to see if I could log in. No. So then I used the sample copy of the file and edited the user name, password, db name and server host. Saved it and tried to log in again. No luck. The FTP program I used is Yahoo’s file manager. It has successfully uploaded all of the files. Why would it corrupt this one? This one looks the same as the previous file. I just don’t see any code for define debug to enable error reporting. Am I supposed to add that? i don’t know php so I’m not sure if I am missing something.
