The fix is to downgrade to v 3.1.1 of Jetpack and don’t let it update.
I’ve read on some forums and a guy had similar problem.

Is it possible that Jetpack auto updated? Because now I see version 3.9.4.

Hi. I downgraded Jetpack to version 3.1.1 or something and it appeared that the issue is gone. (it’s not)
However when you scroll more and try more videos some of them won’t start or won’t start and have two play buttons. You can try it yourself. Scroll a lot. Try some videos. Scroll more. Try again. Repeat till you get the undesired effect. 🙁
There are no javascript errors in the console.
