In reply to: [Fixed Widget and Sticky Elements for WordPress] Stop scrolling at the footerhave you tried it on a mobile browser? I cant get it to work on a mobile browser.
It’s as if the footer increases in height when on a mobile browser, and whatever I set it at for a desktop, it’s fine. Strange

In reply to: [Fixed Widget and Sticky Elements for WordPress] Stop scrolling at the footerQuoting from the q2w3-fixed-widget/readme.txt:
= How to prevent overlapping with the footer? =
Make sure you have updated plugin to version 2.x. Go to WP admin area, Appearance -> Fixed Widget Options. Here you can define top and bottom margins. Set bottom margin value >= footer height. Check the result.
This doesn’t however seem to work on mobile browsers, can someone please help me to get it to work on mobile browsers?
It works like a treat, although
#mysticky-wrap {min-height:100px;}seems to put a big margin under the header when the page is at the very top (like it starts out). I have tried lowering this to 100 to get rid of the margin and that works better. Can you explain what the min-height of 500 is for and why it was set at 500?Thanks a lot, I’ll have a look when I’m back at home π
I am having a similar problem. My homepage is the default page that shows the most recent comments, but I don’t know how to make it search engine friendly, as there is no page to edit!
That didn’t seem to work, but no worries, I actually think the full width looks good π
Is it possible to add any images or the search box to the bar? I would ideally like to add a small image to the left of the menu items and the search box to stay visible on the nav bar when scrolling?

In reply to: Stange styling problemI am using Chrome on Mavericks.
I have just realised it’s because my browser is zoomed out a little by default. I just tried resetting the zoom, and the box disappears.
My bad, thanks for making me realise it was my own browsers fault π
Resolved.

In reply to: Stange styling problemThanks again CrouchingBruin, but I have not been able to solve the issue. It’s just a small issue but I would like to get it fixed. Could you possibly take a look at it now that it is live, and point me in the right directions? It would be a massive help. the URL is http://goo.gl/Cji7YE

In reply to: Annoying problem logging inOh, it may be because I was going straight to mydomain.com/wp-admin rather than mydomain.com/wp-login.php!
Thanks for your help, I’ve resolved the problem. I feel silly!!

In reply to: Annoying problem logging inDone both and it still doesn’t work.
I know I’m putting the correct username and passowrd in, but the box doesn’t shake, and simply puts me back again. If I put in the wrong password it shakes, saying I have put the wrong password in…

In reply to: Stange styling problemWow, thanks for the detailed reply!! I will have a look into getting that sorted when I get back from work. Again, thank you for your reply π
I must be editing the wrong thing here but I have gone into settings and modified the code you placed above to incorporate my background colour but that still does nothing :/
