Thanks for the feedback. I updated the plugin/widget a little while back and added some new features:
* Added the ability to limit the number of returned events
* Events can now be linked to their Google Calendar entries
I also fixed an issue where the events were appearing out of order.
Regarding the styling, I know it’s a bit redundant but I wanted to a) have a good place where some default CSS could be displayed and b) provide an easy way for users to rapidly alter the event CSS until they felt comfortable enough to add it to their theme (not everybody knows the joys of working with Firebug).
