I started using Polylang with Zerif Lite to have 2 languages on my site (EN and PT), but in the configuration of Polylang (the manual entry part), when I apply the changes it gives me always this error:

“Oops! That page can’t be found.

It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?”

I’ve used polylang with other themes and never got this error..I’ve tried with different languages and still got the same error.. can someone help me on this? Thanks!

    Hello Sinfrix,

Another member has reported problems with Polylang, we are looking into it. I used other plugins for translations, but I will try to do it with Polylang as well and see what’s wrong.
An update will be released after we fix it.

    Kind regards,
    Marius

    Hello,

Unfortunately we aren’t able to push updates yet.
The solution is to add missing strings in wpml-config.xml

    Hello Marius,

I noticed that the Zerif theme was updated in July. The release notes states that several localization issues were fixed.

Could you please confirm that now every single string can be translated?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We are getting close to the optime results, so there might still be a few issues with the translation.

    Hello Alexandra,

I am trying the new version. Everything seems fine with the translation strings. However I could not find a way to provide the user a “Change language” option on the top menu, or flag icons, …

How is it supposed to work? Automatic language detection from the user browser settings is not always the best option.

    Thank you.

That is a plugin question which you are asking, but the instructions are pretty easy.
Just add the language switcher in the menu, you should be able to see it in Appearance->Menus

    Best regards,
    Marius

i install Zerif Lite Version: 1.8.3.3 and Polylang Version 1.8, but there is no language switcher displayed in the menu, so i can not add the language switcher in the menu.

but it worked on Zerif Lite Version: 1.8.3.0 and Polylang Version 1.7.12 a few days ago.

anyone knows what is the problem and how to resolve it>????
