YouTube Shorts

We use the YouTube video field for users to be able to add links to their videos to play on their profile pages. This works well on the whole, but we have recently had two users who would like to use a YouTube Shorts video. When this is added, the play button shows (like on the second video on the link submitted above), but an error is shown as below:

Is there a workaround to be able to use YouTube Shorts?
