YouTube icon display issues on hover
-
Just installed and set up the plug-in on my site (3dhealthalliance.org). When I hover over the YouTube icon, “! error” pops up under it. In addition, above the icon the option to subscribe to the YouTube channel isn’t appearing (just the “visit us” option.) Thoughts? Thanks!

Thanks Tysonvictor for reporting this. In 99% cases this is because you selected “username” but entered a channel ID, or you selected “Channel ID” but entered a username. Could you please check this? Rgds, John
Thanks for the quick reply! It had indeed input the wrong channel ID before, but now after triple checking I’m confident it’s right. My YouTube channel looks fine (verified, in good standing). On the Ultimate Social Media Icons set-up page for “What do you want the icons to do?” I checked both YouTube boxes and input the channel ID and saved the settings. Then I refreshed my own website page.
When I hover over the icon it still reads ! error, and the only thing that shows above it is Visit Us. It works in that capacity – you can click and go to the channel page. I assume the error thus relates to subscribing to the channel. Any more thoughts? Thanks again!
Please send me your blog url, youtube username & Channel ID, and a screenshot of your admin selections
I don’t see a way to contact you with that information through email or something. Can you suggest a way to do that? I have a functioning contact form on my site (3dhealthalliance.org).
Ah, sorry. Please email the details to support at ultimatelysocial dot com

Had posted that I had the same problem, but it seems to be working now, so nevermind.
Well, perhaps I spoke too soon. I am able to get a “Youtube” icon to show up, but it is greyed out and apparently doesn’t work. Is this because I am logged in as me, and therefore can’t subscribe to my channel?
That shouldn’t be the case – what’s your blog url?
