Your plugin increases my site load time dramatically

    Hi

    I have spent a good part of today testing the impact on your plugin on my site load times.

    Activating your plugin adds 1.9211 extra seconds to site load time and that is 62% of the overall plugin loading time.

    Is there anyway to improve the performance of your plugin.

    Is there a functionality snippet that I can use so that your plugin only loads on one page.

    My site is text based with very few small graphics. It is a big site with just one page used for chat.

    However your plugin effectively doubles the load time across all pages of my site, included the home page.

    Perhaps a significant improvement to your plugin would be an option to select “only load wise chat on a page that includes a WC shortcode”.

    That way, the rest of a big site would load at normal speed, and your plugin would only slow the load speed on a page that has chat.

    In the interim. Is there a snippet that I can add to my functionality plugin that can stop WC loading on all pages except one (identified by page ID)?

    Hi,

    Thank you for reporting this. This is abnormal behavior. Usually the plugin does not require so much time to load itself. Did you measure server time only or full page load time (including Javascript logic)? It’s probably your server-specific problem. It is hard to say something more without live testing.
