Yoast Subdomain-caonical….

    Hello Yoast Forum,
    I have a wordpress website on http://www.positiver-dialog.at on the server under the directory /new. (i made a relaunch from the old website to a new wordpress one).
    Works fine. Now i use YOAST – also wors fine.
    Now i want to create a new Subdomain called mediation.positiver-dialog.at. The Content of thes subdomain shpuld be the wordpress page which is now reachable unter http://www.positiver-dialog.at/mediation.
    So i think to use the Canonical Tag under the YOAST Configuration for the WP Page Mediation.
    But whats about DNS? I can create a subdomain at my hosting frontend. But thes subdomain must point to a Directory on the server. What will i take here because in WordPress the content pages are not singular files at the directory?
    How does the subdomain configuration correspond with WP and your Canonical Configuration.
