    Hello.

WordPress has the ability to load posts using the Query Loop block which then uses a number of query parameters in order to faciliate the search & navigation through the posts. We need to use the Yoast SEO crawl optimisation feature of removing unregistered URL parameters but we still need to have the query loop functional, which is not possible in the current version of Yoast. I can add additional query parameters to be exluded from this optimisation feature such as post_type[] which is used for filtering the results of the query loop to a particular post type but when I attempt to add the query parameters for the pagination of the query loop Yoast SEO still removes these from the URL. The pagination url looks like this: /blog/?query-9-page=2 and adding query-9-page to the exlusion list does not work.

    Thanks

    Hello @brennaninternational

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. We currently do not have a workaround to exclude query parameters of the query loop block from the advanced URL cleanup feature of the plugin. Thanks for suggesting a new feature for our plugin! Please submit feature requests to our GitHub repository for Yoast SEO.

You will need an account to create a new issue for your feature request. Please provide as much information about the issue, including the URL to this conversation.
