  • Yoast SEO v6.3.1 is fully compatible with all major PHP versions. If you’re unable to log into your website after activating the Yoast SEO plugin, we’re gonna need more information in order to assist you further.

    • Do you see any errors in activating the Yoast SEO plugin?
    • Do you see any errors on your login page?
    • Does the issue occur while all the non-Yoast plugins are disabled and the default 2017 theme is active?

Yoast SEO should work with PHP 5.2.4 or newer. If you are still experiencing issues with Yoast SEO, please check if changing the PHP version to 7.0 or newer fixes the issue.

If the issue persists, then it’s likely caused by an incompatibility with a different plugin or theme on your website. In that case, we recommend performing a conflict check as in this guide.

    Hi,

If I deactivate the yoast plugin I am able to login to admin panel.

I am planning to update the PHP version to 7.0 or higher and check.

    Hi ,

Sometimes if I activate the yoast SEO plugin it will work fine suddenly after 1 or 2 days same issue will happen.I am not able to login to admin panel

The issue you are experiencing with the admin area could also be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:
    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
