My Yoast is plugin missing the “Advanced” tab in features? I have no “Titles & Meta” or “XML Sitemap” showing. I tried disabling & enabling the plugin to no avail.

  • We’ve made a lot of changes in the recent version of the plugin. Please refer to this article: https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-7-0/

Disaster! I need to exclude topics from bbpress form the sitemap but I still want them to be eventually indexed. Now I’ve google scanning all the forum, ten thousand of pages… and I cannot unindex all them to explude them from the sitemap since some forum are driving good traffic!

Arghhh, please send out documentation of at least on hook to disable specific post type from the sitemap.xml, or how to disable the sitemap so I can use another plugin…

    Thank you, Stefano.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to remove posts from the sitemap without noindexing them.

You can disable the XML Sitemaps by going to SEO → General → Features → XML Sitemaps.
