    Hi,

it’s been sometime already that yoast metabox is incomplete in one of my websites. The only feature I can use is the SEO title and meta description, but I can’t access:

    – readablity analysis
    – focus keyword
    – seo analysis

I also lost all of the green/yellow/red lights from posts I published when the plugin was still working (screenshot)

I googled it, read forums and the Yoast website, but nothing I did worked. I read this article and checked these things, but they are not the problem:
    – JavaScript is enabled (screenshot)
    – There’s no JavaScript error (screenshot)
    – I don’t use Avast, so it couldn’t be it. Plus, I have other websites and this is the only one with the issue…

I then tried troubleshooting it with Health Check – as suggested here – but the issue is still there even without any plugin and with a simple theme from Automattic.

I don’t know what else to do. I am delaying the change to another seo plugin because Yoast is the best and I’m already used to it. I also tried deleting it and installing it again, but it came back with the same issues. The ONLY thing I didn’t do was deleting every yoast information from the directory and installing again as if I never had the plugin. I’m afraid to do it and have to check the seo for all my posts again.

Has anyone ever faced a similar issue? What should I do?

    Thank youu.

  • We would first recommend checking the following settings to confirm that they are set correctly:

Can you confirm you have the right user permissions? You can check by going to Users->Your Name->Yoast SEO settings (may need to scroll down) and confirm that both “disable SEO” and “disable readability” are unclicked?
Can you confirm that the SEO, Readability, Keyword Analysis, and Insights are all enabled by going to SEO->General->Features and checking that SEO, Readability, and Insights are all enabled?
Can you confirm that the SEO and Readability are enabled on the posts? You can check by going to SEO->Search Appearance->Content Types and seeing that the Yoast SEO Meta box says “Show”?

These articles should help serve as a guide for some of the settings: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-enable-disable-the-keyword-analysis/ and https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-disable-content-readability-analysis/

After confirming that the aforementioned items are all set correctly, can you please confirm whether this resolves your issue?

@marty03 @pedrodanon If you have already confirmed that the SEO, Readability, and Keyword Analysis are all enabled the issue could also be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:
    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
