    Hello!

I just have a quick question but it is a very significant one.

We have a couple of wordpress sites in our company, some are for displaying company information (the main web site) and some are for blogging.

In all those we have installed the very nice SEO plugin Yoast.

How will Yoast stand against the new GDPR rules soon to be implemented? Is any data at all sent by yoast from our site to any 3rd part? Such as IP-addresses, user agents, behaviour on web site and so on?

    Thanks in advance!

    /Daniel

    Hi @jerparx,

Our WordPress SEO plugins do not collect any personal data that affect the GDPR regulations.

Are you sure ??? Did you read it ???
For instance, when your plugin permit to connect to social networks… do you think no data is collected by them ???

I think you’re kidding with your answers, as in this post IP, locale, Yoast version, browser info sent to external CDN

    Regards.

And, due to external analytics integration the plugin share data with others. At least, Yoast would integrate with WordPress privacy page guide tool to inform which data collect, how it does it and whom shares those data, as some security plugins have done.

    We’ll really appreciate it! 🙂
