We have Yoast plugin installed onto our https blog – but whenever we add external http URLS to our wordpress blog posts, it automatically changes them to be HTTPs!

This then sends our users to a dead, ‘non-secure’ URL.

Deactivating the plugin solves the issues, but we want to fix this. How can I stop Yoast from force changing http links in our content to https?

    Thanks

  • @danielarmp, That’s strange. There is no Yoast functionality that does that. Can you try doing a conflict check? Can you confirm if you are on the latest WordPress version 4.9.4 and Yoast SEO 6.3.1? Can you also check if there could be filters on your site that’s causing this?
