Yahoo Mail Problem

Went I click on the Yahoo Mail icon it pulls up a ‘compose email’ screen but nothing is filled out, no subject nor is there anything in the body. Is that normal? If so, it won’t really compel anyone to share. Isn’t there a way to populate the body and subject with a link or some text?
