Hi, just installed SEOPress and having issues with XML sitemaps:

    1. Wrong URLs – I use LearnPress so lessons links should look like site/course/lessons/link but they are site/lessons/link – course is removed, Can live with it – I excluded lessons posts from site map generation but still see the map on sitemaps index list.
    2. There is no flush/update sitemaps option.

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    1. Lessons sitemap
SEOPress uses the URL LearnPress gives for each lesson, which is /lessons/lesson-name/. LearnPress only adds the course part when the lesson is shown inside its course. Lessons usually require enrollment, so it’s best to leave them out of the sitemap.

The lessons sitemap is still listed because you excluded the lessons one by one, so it stays in the index, just empty. To remove it, go to SEO > XML / HTML Sitemap > Post Types, uncheck Show in sitemap for Lessons, and save.

    2. Flush / update
You don’t need to flush anything. Sitemaps are built live on every request, so changes show up right away. If you still see an old version, clear your caching plugin, server or CDN cache (Cloudflare, your host), or check in a private browser window.

If a sitemap doesn’t load, go to SEO > XML / HTML Sitemap > General and click Test my sitemap. It finds the problem and offers a one-click fix when it can.
