xml sitemap plugin error

    I’ve installed the google xml sitemap generator bit it gives me an error message when i try to view the sitemap. Even after hitting the rebuild button the same error msg pops up.

    Is the easiest thing to do is just delete the sitemap.xml and.gz file from the root directory and re-install the plug-in?
