    Hi guys,

Just wondered if it were possible to create a Yoast XML sitemap index, plus all the other individual sitemaps within the index, in custom colours that would reflect any website’s branding and livery in the header, rather than just the white coloured sitemap that is present by default?

Any help on this would be much appreciated!

    Hello @deeveearr

The XML Sitemap is primarily intended to be read by the search engines, and not any of your users or readers, so modifying the styling and colors might not be the best idea, as this wouldn’t matter to the search engines.

This article may be of help should you wish to customize the XML Sitemap in other ways — https://yoast.com/help/how-to-customize-the-sitemap-index/

Hi Michael and thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, I already read that article, but if I SELL a website to a client, I just thought it’d be a nice little touch to have their own livery in the sitemap.

No matter though, we’ll just soldier on with the basic white one.
