I saved two tables so far in Libreoffice in XLS format,
then tried to Import them to the tablepress.
It does an OK job, but misses about 10% of the cells,
that is, all rows are accounted for, but some cells within those rows appear blank after the import.
There appears to be nothing “special” about those missing rows, and I am able to re-populate them with a copy-paste from libreoffice calc.

I’d be happy to mail the table(s).

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

This is likely related to the Excel import still being experimental. It still has problems with different data formats, so that those sometimes are not imported properly.

My suggestion here is to try again with a CSV file, i.e. save the table to .csv and then import that, as the CSV importer is more robust.

    Regards,
    Tobias
