XHTML validation error while posting from windows live writer

    Recently I have upgraded to to 2.7 from 2.3.3, previously all was well with the xhtml validation. Now, there is an error “p tag omitted” at more tag.
    the html output looks as follows:

    <p><span id=”more 343″>
    <p>Some other content</p>

    Why the end tag is being omitted. What should I do to fix this.
