    hi folks – please check out my new site

    I’m basically aiming for a sort of metafilter/reddit kind of site that’s maintained by a select group of editors (just me at the moment).

    I’d like any feedback you can provide.

    1. Do you like the background or find it distracting?
    2. Do you think the point of the site is obvious immediately?
    3. If not what do you think i could do to communicate the sites purpose more effectively?
    4. Do you like the way I have presented my links to other sites?
    5. Do you have any recommended WordPress plugins or widgets that you think I could use on my site effectively?

    Nice site, very informative links. One suggestion would be to add a date in the titles so people know where they are at when viewing previous posts etc.

    1. Do you like the background or find it distracting? no i don’t find it distracting but it doesn’t go with what the sites about
    2. Do you think the point of the site is obvious immediately? no i had to read you’re excerpt
    3. If not what do you think i could do to communicate the sites purpose more effectively? better custom background
    4. Do you like the way I have presented my links to other sites? yes a lot love it
    5. Do you have any recommended WordPress plugins or widgets that you think I could use on my site effectively? no i love it
