Let’s try the “look ma, no hands” method so I don’t mortify my family around me…
In WP, edit the post.
Select all the text in the post and ctrl-X to cut it.
Open Notepad or a similar text editor.
ctrl-V to paste the post. This will strip any odd / broken formatting issues.
Select all the text in Notepad and ctrl-X to cut it.
Back to the blog and that empty post field, click in the field and ctrl-V to paste your now clean post.
Save.
Look better?
Yes, this will break any hyperlinks you might have had. You’ll need to redo them.
Hmm tried that just now….didn’t work , took out any links and pics.
I think you had the right idea though because I did have a youtube link in there…coulds that have cause it?
If you pasted in the code from youtube, while using the WYSIWYG editor, probably.
You can disable the wysiwyg editor by going to Users -> Your Profile and unchecking “Use the visual rich editor when writing”
Then edit the post and try again?
