So, if I cannot actually log into my site because it keeps redirecting to the incorrect URL, I am out of luck?

Please re-read the page at the link posted above. None of the suggestions require you to login to your WordPress dashboard.
Perhaps I do not know enough about website design, but I have no idea how to alleviate this situation.

Using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
See…this is where being under-qualified as a company’s web person is crippling.
My hos is probably GoDaddy…do you know where I find out how to do this with them?
Try looking in your hosting control panel.
