Hi Sigrarna,
It’s a shame to hear that. However, I’m currently working on slideshow version 2.2.11, which may be able to fix the problem. I’m still not entirely sure what’s causing this to happen, though.
Best regards,
Stefan
Hi Guys,
I’m having the exact same problem that has been described in the above cases. Really bizarre, as if the “system gets confused”.
Anyway, if anyone finds a solution, please post me 🙂
Cheers,
Paperfish
UPDATE:
maryannkelley’s solution seems to work like a charm.
“Update – I decided to try something different. Instead of using the slideshow shortcode, I put the slideshow widget into Widgets On Pages and selected the correct slideshow for the page. It seems to be working properly when I do that. I’ll let it run for awhile and update if it switches back to running a random slideshow.”
Works fine for now,

Just wanted to say that I am having the same issue…
http://www.capturedheartsphotography.co.uk/
Each page has a different slideshow, but sometimes when going through the pages the wrong slideshow will load on the wrong page until a refresh fixes it.
It’s a shame, because otherwise it’s a great plugin.
Hi, I’m having a similar problem on a very simple site, http://aact.org.uk,though for me I’m not seeing even the one slideshow I’ve installed, just ‘!slideshow_deploy!’
I tried setting
Avoid content filter (disable if ‘!slideshow_deploy!’ is shown)
to ‘No’ as recommended in previous support discussion.
I removed my (tiny) Child theme and reverted to the standard twentytwelve theme but this didn’t help.
The only plugins I’ve got activated are these:
List Category Posts (0.30.3) and Slideshow (2.2.11)
If I deactivate List Category Posts then the slideshow shows.
If I reactivate it, I get !slideshow_deploy! again.
It’s a really great plugin, if this could be solved (it used to work with List Category Posts, I’m afraid I didn’t notice when it stopped working).
Hope you can solve it!
Annette (AACT)
