Wrong message at the activation link

Hello.
After activating the account, I always get the indication that the activation link has already been used.
After submitting the registration form, the customer is under “Waiting for e-mail confirmation”.
Then I click on the activation link and get the message that it has already been used.
Nevertheless, the email confirmation will be processed correctly and the customer will be listed in the “Approved” list.Why do I get the wrong message?
