    i’ve just tested it on a WP 5.2.3 with WC 3.7.0 which also uses WPML 4.2.8 and WC Multilanguage 4.6.7

    – i’ve added a new product category in main language

    – i’ve created the translated product category

    – i selected a bunch of products from a old product category in main language by clicking on its post count number

    – i bulk edited the lot, assigning the new product category

    – i bulk edited the lot again, removing the old product category

    – in main language, old product category post count number went down to 0, new product category post count number shows correct post count

    – in translated new product category, the post count is also correct: that means the new product category has been assigned to the products (as per WPML config, which is set to maintain a sync of taxonomies between translations)

    – the old product category translation post count number did not changed to 0, it still shows the old post count, but by clicking on the number, no product appears. also checking edited translated posts shows that old translated product category is no longer attached

    that’s the only issue i could spot (old post count in translated product category did not update)

    Hi,

    Looks like a WPML issue…here’s what they suggest in similar situations:

    NOTE:
    + Make a backup (both files and database) for your site before updating/proceeding anything (Always a good practice!).

    #1,
    Please go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Click the following buttons
    * General clean up
    * Fix terms count
    * Remove ghost entries from the translation tables

    #2,
    Please go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Click the following button: Delete transient data
