• I’m needing to feed content from a blogspot site into the main content page (NOT sidebar widget). I installed WPeMatico, as it sounds like that is what I need to do this. Problem? I dont’ know how to make it pour the content into the page; is there a script I’m supposed to know that will pull it in? I see where I set up the informaton in a control panel, but I don’t see where or how I tell it where and what page to insert the feed on.

Help. Help. No programmer here… not one bit.

  • I need the same help. Sounds like it might be a great plugin, but I can’t figure you how you get the content to a page. Are there shortcodes? Do you have to do some PHP programming? Which I can’t do so the plugin would not be an answer for me.

I’m sure the program works, but I can’t figure you how. There’s lots of options and setup but it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Like a wheel that spins but doesn’t move.

I guess I need to do an update to my last post. I was getting frustrated because I was expecting to be able to choose which page I wanted the auto posts to go to. I guess it doesn’t work that way? All the posts went to my home page.

is there anyway to choose which page the auto posts go to?

Yes, it posts directly into your blogstream, as if you had directly created the post yourself. It does this for each article it finds in the feeds. I strongly suggest you use the “post title link” option also, as that is one of its strongest abilities and will take care of any attribution licenses automatically.

What I suggest to you to have certain posts from the feeds going to places in addition to the blog stream is to assign specialized categories to each of your feeds. Then, I use the plug-in “catlist”, using a category shortcode you can display those certain types of posts into their own places on your blog site.

    Hope that helps. 🙂
