Wp.com Stats has stopped working

    I installed wordpress.com stats and everything was working fine until 8/10.
    O stats on 8/10
    5 visitors on 8/11
    and 0 stats from 8/12 til today.
    I’m using another counter that shows there has been traffic during this time period.

    I’ve deactivated it, deleted it twice and reloaded wordpress.
    When I reinstalled the plug-in it didn’t ask for my API key,
    it just reloads the old stats automatically.

    Is anyone available that can help me figure this out?
