WPBook Lite Setup – Failed in creating access token

    I have already created the Facebook App as instructed in the WPBook-Lite Basic Instructions.

    When I click on the Generate Access Token Link, I get the following message:

    Failed in creating access token

    And I am told to return to my blog with a link.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Pramod – can you install the development version from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpbook-lite/download

    It has more debugging output at exactly that point in the process.

    Basically what this means is that when you went through the “Generate Access Token” process, whatever was returned from Facebook was not a valid access token – there are many reasons that might happen, but I’m hoping the debug output will help my figure out which is happening in your case.

    Hello,
    Thanks for your reply.
    I installed the Developper Version and this time I was able to Generate my Access Token. I got the Success Message and a lnk to Return to my home page.

    Glad to hear it Pramod.

    Changes in the current developer version will be in the next update, so you should be fine to just upgrade when the next update comes out.
