WPBOOK "Invalid OAuth access token.Error code: 0"

A while ago as it was easily possible for me to feed my WordPress-Post’s to Facebook!

Since a while it’s simply not working anymore and I’ve tried many, many ways including WPBOOK, but unfortunately I’m getting the following error whenever I publish an article:

“Caught exception in stream publish for user: Invalid OAuth access token.Error code: 0”

I’ve read a lot of articles and checked the setup over and over again!

It would be nice if someone with knowledge could give me a helping hand.

I’m pretty much overchallenged and I’ve got a lot of other tasks to do, while trying to give our organisation and website http://ww.1x1indien.org a KICK.

Deekee – have you followed the update instructions at http://wpbook.net/docs/upgrade/ ?

What does your “check permissions” page show? (WordPress->Settings->WPBook->Stream/Wall Options->check permissions)

That should open a page inside FB showing what permissions you have granted and whether an access token has been stored or not.

Well, I worked thru http://wpbook.net/docs/upgrade/ ?

and I got stuck at the “check permission” page, which showed the following error:

“The page you requested was not found”

@deekee What version of WordPress are you running?

What’s the url of the blog outside FB?

What do you have set as your Facebook Canvas Page url in WPBook settings?

WordPress->Settings->WPBook, first section, third box?

It should be set to just lxlindien

Also, @deekee, what do you have set as your Canvas URL in your Facebook App settings? is it just http://www.1x1indien.org?

Well the settings in the canvas page was a hassle, as it didn’t accepted nummericals, so i set it to lxlindien but the canvas URL is http://www.1x1indien.org

Still getting:
Caught exception in stream publish for user: Invalid OAuth access token.Error code: 0

Well, 4 tonight I give up and probably forget about FB in the short time, as there is to much effort needed and I’ve got more important stuff to do…

@deekee once you get the canvas page setting correct you will need to again grant permissions.

The “canvas page” reference inside WPBook setting just needs to know what the Facebook Application setting calls “Canvas Page” – which is just a short string.

In my case, for example:
- My blog lives at http://www.openparenthesis.org/
- My Facebook app is http://apps.facebook.com/openparenthesis/
- In Facebook settings for my FB app, the “canvas url” is http://www.openparenthesis.org/
- In WPBook settings, in WordPress, the “Facebook Canvas Page URL NOT INCLUDING ‘http://apps.facebook.com/'” is openparenthesis
