WPB Responsive Frontend is not defined

    After updating from 1.2.6 to 1.3.3 has introduced the following JS error, which breaks multiple things on the site.

    jquery.min.js:2 Uncaught ReferenceError: WPTB_ResponsiveFrontend is not defined

    So far only downgrading the plugin to the previous version resolves the issue.

    Any ideas?

    Wordpress: Tried 5.3.3 and 5.6.1 – no change.
    Browser: All
    Pages: All
    OS: All

    So upon further inspection it seems that wp-table-builder-frontend.js was being loaded on every-page, and without Tables on the page- the function isn’t there to call throwing an error.

    It *seems* that I was on 5.6 but 5.6.1 might be working now… the errors seems to have gone away.

    Just to update, updating to 5.6.1 did not fix the issue. Still happens on our live site (though staging oddly is working).

    Version 1.2.9 seems to be the last stable version, and every subsequent version throws errors because it’s loading Table JS files on pages with no tables.

    I am really sorry to hear that.

    We will look into it and get back to you as soon as we have something.

    We have an update coming next week.

    I’m hoping we will be able to fix it before then and will include the fix in the next release.
