• I just tried to use automatic upgrade to 2.7.1 and entered in my FTP settings, hit go and my wp-admin blew up. I can access my blog.. post comments, etc, everything works except whenever I try to access my site admin, I get this:

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@weshargrove.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Help?

    EDIT:

I take that back, I can’t post or comment, the main page simply appears, and the links work, but cannot update.

Also, this seems to have worked for someone with a similar issue…

…but I don’t know how to install/use phpMyAdmin. Is there any way I can deactivate the WPAU plugin through the FTP?

yes – rename or delete the plugin and it deactivates
you can’t use it with versions 2.7 or above now as it is built in

This is the same exact error I get but I’m not aware that I’m using any plugins. How do I check. I don’t remember changing anything from the default for thsi blog… What else would cause an error like this?
