WP_Query comment_count

Hello I would like to retrieve most commented posts. I know WP_Query has 'order_by' => 'comment_count' but this is related to 'posts_per_page', so you get a certain amount of posts ordered by comment_count, not exactly “the most commented ones”… Have you evere faced this? Thank you
