i am getting error Error establishing a database connection. on site. and did the database repair which gave me the title of this forum post.

tried, everything is there. It got jacked up after my hosting company merged my server with another.
or is there anyway to get a back up of the blog post’s, with out having access?
The message ‘Error establishing a database connection’ means WP can’t connect to your database. The credentials to do this are in teh file ‘wp-config.php’.
WordPress has two parts – the code and the database. can you still access your database using phpMyAdmin? If you can not, you need to contact your host and find out what happened to your database during the move to the new server.
