With WP_DEBUG enabled, I see this in the Image Optimizer column for each image:

Notice: Use of undefined constant EWWW_IMAGE_OPTIMIZER_PNGOUT – assumed ‘EWWW_IMAGE_OPTIMIZER_PNGOUT’ in /var/www/mydomain.com/html/wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/common.php on line 2393

Happens regardless of whether pngout is enabled

According to readme.txt in the download: Stable tag: 2.4.5

    Plugin Author nosilver4u

The readme doesn’t change, it’s the version in the ewww-image-optimizer.php file that changes. That should be what WordPress displays for the version number on the Plugins page as well. The latest dev is 2.4.5.2

Confirmed! No more warnings with 2.4.5.2. Thanks
