    About a month ago, i had to change my URL and server and such.

    My problem is – I cant import my entries. At all. Well, I almost got it once, but then it wouldnt let me post new ones. I was using this meathod by the way http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/restore/
    Without the actual tutorial, but I was doing the exact same thing anyway. I’ve tried it at least 50 times. I could not get it to work. Not even close. Usually after I did that, it told me that I need to install WordPress or something.

    My entries are for WP 1.5, by the way.

    So, the only other thing I can think of of doing is to take my entries and convert them to another blog system entries and then convert them back to WP. except I cant find a single WP -> some other script. GAH. Any ideas?

    My entries are for WP 1.5, by the way.

    And is your new install the same version?
    Export/import works only if both installations have the same version WP. After the successful import you can upgrade.

    Yeah, I was installing into 1.5.
    took me a few tries to realize that databases were different, thoough.
