Hey Tobias
Thank you very much for your help, it’s really cool. I’m going to change all my tables and put them in one column.
Best regards
Rodlec
Hi,
ok, great. Sorry for the extra work that this is causing, but there’s no other solution due to the change in the DataTables library 🙁
Best wishes,
Tobias
I do not under stand where this short code goes to make the tables appear on the pages. I do not know what editor or what to look for to replace what needs to be replaced. Make the tables fine, but cannot get them loaded on the pages.
I am so new at this I have had to stop and read and read and read and many times still do not under stand what is needed or what to do.
Hi,
thanks for your question.
The Shortcodes basically just have to be inserted in the place of your page editor where you want the table to appear.
So, in the menu on the left side of your WordPress Dashboard, look for “Posts” (if you want to insert a table into a blog post) or “Pages” (if you want to insert a table into a page on your site). Click on that.
You will see a list of all existing posts/pages. Choose the one where you want to insert a table. In the next screen, you will see the content editor where you type the text of that post/page. And that’s where you have to enter the Shortcode, by either typing it, copy/pasting it in, or using the “Table” button in the editor toolbar.
Best wishes,
Tobias
