  • Hey mrppp,

Only delete the contents if you have no packages in main packages page…

    Cheers~

And if one were to delete the contents in this folder while having packages in the dashboard…. what would be the steps to resolve a 500 internal error?

i have not got in that position, but would deleting the plugin not solve it? Backup the folder first though)

Deleting the plugin, changing permissions on wp-config and index.php from 644 to 755, and deleted the wp-snapshots folder. 500 error gone.
I’m about to dig through the php database and remove any trace of the plugin, then try reinstalling.

Can I delete the Duplicator table in the database? I’m hesitant, thinking this might have further implications than I’m expecting.

I’ve deleted the plugin, the wp-snapshots folder, and changed permissions on index.php and wp-config. If I install the plugin and activate, it alters permissions on these files to 644 and the site goes to 500 internal error.

I love the plugin and want to use it, but I can’t activate with out killing the site. Will deleting the table be a clean restart?

    Thanks

if i were you i would always keep a local copy, play with that before a live site.

but backup database if it screws it load the backup.

True! It was a momentary lapse in judgement… I wanted to decrease the size of the next package and was already logged in to the FTP so just manually deleted the zip, php, and sql for the previous packages in wp-snapshots. #dontdothat
Moving too fast, trying to create a quick safety net and made a dumb move.

easily done, i screwed a site the other night, luckily i had only hours previous download a package and put on local site, so within 2 mins reversed the process, fantastic plugin this.
