WP Smile codes

    Today I installed new smiles. The only problem is, that some of the included <‘s and >‘s. The main problem I am having is that smiles with the > in the begining can show up, but will block everything afterwards. Is there a way to keep the > but not have that happen, or will I just have to work around those?

    It must be something with the symbols and such, because I can have
    >>
    and it will show up. (With no text or anything after it.) Or i could have
    >:o
    and it will show up. . . But nothing after it will. (Like writing or smiles or anything.)
    Of course, when I have
    >> ; >:o ; >:[ And text text text. The first two smiles show up, but the last one doesn’t, and the text after will. What symbols are causing this, so I can stay away from them?
