Is there a function which will tell me the root directory of the wordpress install, from the clients perspective?

For example, http://mysite.com/ or http://mysite.com/wordpress

Well, an example might be /var/www/html/wordpress/

Im talking about the path to which you would find wp-config.php

OK, that’s path (or server path).

But in this way we willl never get to the end. Stop asking technical things… Describe in details WHAT do you want to achieve (the end-result) and we will tell you the HOW.
It works faster!
